Head to the west of Palma to visit one of the geological treasures of Mallorca with this ticket for the Genova Caves.
Genova Caves Ticket
The Genova district, located in the westernmost district of Palma de Mallorca, is home to a group of prehistoric caves where a variety of stalactites and stalagmites have been naturally formed due to water drops.
This ticket allows you to learn about the origin of these caves, discovered in 1906. Since then, geologists have investigated their underground galleries, which served as a refuge for hominid ancestors in prehistoric times.
After reopening to the public in 2017, the caves feature various domes, columns, and tunnels formed by water. During the visit, you will explore these areas illuminated to highlight the contrast with the rock tones.
The visit lasts between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on the size of the group.
Timetable
The caves are open from Monday to Sunday, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.
