Genova Caves Ticket
The Genova district, located in the westernmost district of Palma de Mallorca, is home to a significant geological formation, a group of prehistoric caves featuring various stalactites and stalagmites formed by water drops. This ticket allows you to learn about the origin of the caves, which were discovered in 1906, and have since been subject to geological investigations. These caves served as a refuge for early hominids in prehistoric times. Following their reopening to the public in 2017, visitors can explore the domes, columns, and stone tunnels inside, which are illuminated to highlight contrasts with the rock tones. The visit lasts between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on the group size.
Timetable
The caves are open from Monday to Sunday, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.
