Palma Waterfront Free Tour
At the appointed time we'll meet at the Device to Root Out Evil, the sculpture of an upside-down church, to start this free walking tour of Palma's waterfront area.
First, we'll walk through Santa Catalina and Es Jonquet, the main seaside neighborhoods. Next, we stop in front of the Church of San Telmo and the Baluarte de Sant Pere, monuments linked to the maritime history of Mallorca.
Our route then continues along the area of the Atarazanas and the new and old Llotja de Palma, designed by architect Guillem Sagrera in the 15th century.
The next stop will be at the statue of Captain Antonio Barceló, Lieutenant General of the Spanish Royal Navy. After learning about his history, we'll proceed to Parc de la Mar, to take in views of the Royal Palace of La Almudaina and the Palma Cathedral, also known as La Seu.
This free tour concludes at the neighborhood of La Calatrava and the Baluarte del Principe, finishing after two and a half hours at the beach of Can Pere Antoni.
Groups
Our free tour does not allow for groups of more than 6 people, even if bookings are made separately. For larger groups, we recommend booking a private tour of Palma de Mallorca.
