Day Trip to El Valle de Antón

After picking you up from your hotel in Ciudad de Panamá or Playa Bonita, we'll set out on a two-hour journey to El Valle de Antón.

Located in the crater of a huge extinct volcano, El Valle de Antón is 1969 feet (600 m) above sea level. The cool temperatures at this altitude create a unique ecosystem unlike any other in Panama.

We will explore the crater of the volcano, enjoy the views, and visit the El Níspero Zoo to learn about the biodiversity of El Valle de Antón. We will also explore the local species of plant life in the botanical garden.

Additionally, we will visit the market in El Valle de Antón before concluding our experience with a delicious lunch in a local restaurant, featuring a starter, main dish, drink, and dessert that showcase Panamanian specialties.

At around 1 pm, we will begin our return journey to your hotel, arriving by 3 pm.
