Day Trip to Fort San Jeronimo & a Private Island

Join us for an extraordinary experience on this day trip to a private island from Panama City, with a stop at the historic Fort of San Jeronimo in Portobelo.

Spend the Day on a Private Island in Panama

Pick up from your hotel in Panama City will be at 7:30 am, with an arrival in Portobelo after approximately an hour and a half. A half-hour guided tour of the ruins of Fort San Jeronimo will precede our boat trip to the island. The fort was constructed to defend against pirate attacks.

On the island, enjoy the Caribbean Sea. Activities include kayaking in the waters. Relax and spot turtles, manta rays, or sailfish. A delicious local lunch will be served around 1 pm, featuring chicken or fish with choices like coconut rice, french fries, or fried plantains. After lunch, you will have free time for swimming before returning to Portobelo.

Afterward, we will take a minibus back to Panama City, arriving at your hotel by 4 pm.
