Emberá Indigenous Village Day Trip
After pickup from your hotel in Panama City, we will travel for an hour to the Chagres River. Upon arrival at the port of Corotú, we'll board a traditional canoe for a ride along the river.
Cruising along the river, we will enjoy a natural environment until we reach a beautiful waterfall called the Quebrada Bonita, located in the jungle.
The tour will continue with a visit to an Emberá community, where we will learn about the culture of these people, who moved from Colombia in the 18th century.
The Emberá will welcome us with a traditional dance. Members of the community will share insights about their culture, education, and artisanry. Following this, we will enjoy a lunch consisting of tilapia, patacones, and fruit.
After lunch, we will watch another dance performance, with the option to participate. Before returning to your hotel, you will also have the chance to purchase local artisan goods as souvenirs.
