Description

The tour begins with a pickup from your Panama City hotel at the designated time. We will travel by minibus to the Miraflores Visitor Center, where you can learn about the history of the Panama Canal.

The tour will highlight the various construction phases of the Panama Canal. Panoramic terraces at the Miraflores Visitor Center offer views of ships passing through the canal locks.

Next, we continue to the Miraflores and Pedro Miguel locks and arrive at the town of Gamboa, located by the Chagres River. We will board a boat for a peaceful journey across Gatun Lake, historically the largest artificial lake in the world.

During our sailing, you will see large vessels navigating the lake, surrounded by the Panamanian jungle. We will then explore Monkey Island, searching for various monkey species and potentially spotting sloths, toucans, turtles, and alligators.

After six hours of exploration, we will return to the mainland and transport you back to your hotel.
