On this tour, we'll discover how the ships pass through the Miraflores Locks and observe the operation of the Panama Canal, one of the most significant engineering works in history.

At 8 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Panama City and head to the Panama Canal. After a 20-minute drive, we will arrive at Miraflores.

The Miraflores Locks are the last section of the Panama Canal before reaching the Pacific Ocean. In this area, ships are lifted or lowered 16 meters (54 feet), depending on their direction.

We will witness the passage of vessels through the locks and learn about the operation of the gates. This process takes about 30 minutes and occurs multiple times each day.

Following this, we will provide some free time to visit the Canal Visitor Center and learn about its construction history. The Panama Canal was the largest engineering feat in the world until the 1930s.

We will conclude the tour by returning you to your hotel 4 hours after pickup.
