Panama City Private Layover Tour
The private Panama City layover tour includes transportation and an English-speaking driver, starting from the airport upon your arrival and concluding with your transfer back. We will wait for you at the airport holding a sign with your name next to the tourist desk, ready for your adventure in one of the world's capitals that features a jungle within its urban area.
Your first stop will be the Panama Canal Visitor Centre, where you can observe ships navigating the Miraflores Locks toward Lake Gatun. This site, spanning 80 km, is recognized as a significant modern engineering achievement.
Next, you will visit the Calzada de Amador, a roadway linking the capital to four islands: Culebra, Naos, Perico, and Flamenco, an ideal spot for photography.
The tour will continue to the historic centre of Panama City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. You will enjoy a one-hour tour of the main attractions, including the ruins of the Company of Jesus Convent and the towers of the Santa Maria la Antigua Cathedral.
After five hours, you will return to Tocumen International Airport.
Important: Layover times
The return trip between the airport and the city centre takes 40 minutes. It is essential to be at the airport two hours before your flight's departure. A minimum of seven hours of layover time is recommended to complete the activity.
