Panama City Private Layover Tour

The Panama City layover tour is private, including transport and an English-speaking driver from the pick-up at the airport to the transfer back. Upon landing, we will wait for you at the tourist desk holding a sign with your name to enjoy the unique capital with a jungle within urban limits.

Our first stop will be at the Panama Canal Visitor Centre, where we will see ships transit through the Miraflores Locks towards Lake Gatun. This 80 km channel is a significant achievement of modern engineering.

Next, we will visit the Calzada de Amador, a road connecting the capital with four islands: Culebra, Naos, Perico, and Flamenco. Capture fascinating pictures!

The tour will then take you to the historic centre of Panama City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. Enjoy a one-hour tour of key attractions, including the 18th-century ruins of the Company of Jesus Convent, the towers of the Santa Maria la Antigua Cathedral, and the neoclassical National Theatre of Panama.

After five hours, we will return you to Tocumen International Airport.

The return trip between the airport and the city centre takes 40 minutes. Be at the airport two hours before your flight departure. A minimum of seven hours of layover time is recommended to complete the activity.
