Experience the best of Panama's capital on the Panama City Tourist Bus. The route includes 13 different stops where you can hop off and on to explore the city. The tour features recorded commentary in English regarding the attractions you pass.

Visit the Colonial-style Old Quarter, a World Heritage Site, and see the modern districts, as well as enjoy views of the Pacific Ocean. Explore the Panama Canal at the Miraflores Locks and learn about Panama's history at the Biomuseo. For shopping, visit Balboa Boutiques Plaza or Albrook Mall. If you prefer nature, hike to Cerro Ancon for panoramic views.

How does it work?

Your ticket is valid for 24 or 48 consecutive hours from the first use. For example, a 48-hour ticket used on a Monday at 3 pm will be valid until Wednesday at 3 pm. You can hop on and off the buses as many times as you wish during this period.

You will need to select a start day when booking, but the service can be used within 3 months from that date.

Operating times

The Panama City tourist bus operates daily at:

Monday to Sunday: 9 am and 3:15 pm

Bus frequency is every 75 minutes, and the entire route takes two hours without stops. This schedule may change.

Arriving by cruise ship?

Check your disembarkation point if arriving by cruise ship. At Flamenco, buses are located at Fort Amador, about a 5-minute walk from the ship. From Colon, you will need to travel approximately one and a half hours to Panama City; check with your cruise line for transport options.
