Tour Details

At the appointed time, we will meet on Via Borgo Italia to begin our exploration of Pantelleria, also known as the Island of the Wind. The tour will reveal the origins of this nickname.

Pantelleria features contrasting landscapes, crystal clear waters, and enchanting beaches. During the tour, we will delve into the history and traditions of Pantelleria while traveling by bus through its volcanic rock coves. Notable stops include the Faraglione and the Arco dell'Elefante (Arch of the Elephant), where you can take a dip in the Mediterranean waters.

We will visit a high vantage point to admire the coves of Balata dei Turchi, site of an ancient obsidian quarry, and Salto della Vecchia. The lively district of Scauri will also be on our itinerary, concluding at the Grotta di Sataria, one of Pantelleria's thermal baths.

The tour will conclude four hours after departure at the starting point.
