At the designated time, we will meet on Via Borgo Italia to commence a tour of Pantelleria, known as the Black Pearl of the Mediterranean. This tour will explain the significance of this nickname.

Pantelleria, also the Island of the Wind, experiences constant winds throughout the year. The tour will showcase the island’s volcanic landscapes, crystal clear waters, and beaches. Participants will gain insight into the history and traditions of Pantelleria as we journey by bus through its scenic coves and volcanic rock caves. Key sights include the Faraglione and Arco dell'Elefante, with a stop at a cove for a dip in the Mediterranean waters.

We will visit the high point offering views of Balata dei Turchi, the former obsidian quarry site, and Salto della Vecchia. The tour also goes through Scauri, concluding at the Grotta di Sataria, known for its thermal baths.

The tour lasts four hours and will return to the starting point.
