When making your reservation, you can choose from the following activities to participate in upon arriving in the Huasteca Potosina region. Each tour lasts 13 hours, starts at 7 am, and includes hotel pickup and drop-off, transport by minibus, a Spanish-speaking guide, and lunch.

Tamtoc and the Birth of Tanchipa

We'll reach the village of Tamuin to explore the Tamtoc archaeological site, a former settlement of the Huastecan culture. The site showcases various funerary structures and murals. Here, we'll visit the birthplace of the Tanchipa River to admire the surrounding grottoes.

Minas Viejas + Micos Waterfalls

This day trip takes us to the Mina Viejas waterfalls, which cascade down from 50 meters (164 feet) into a turquoise natural pool. You can dive in for a refreshing dip. Then, we'll go to Micos, where you can try waterfall jumping.

Salto + Meco Waterfalls

This experience starts at the Salto waterfall, with a cascade falling from 70 meters (229 feet) high. We will then visit Meco lookout point and travel to the waterfall in a canoe, where you can jump from rocks into the water.

Tamasopo and Puente de Dios

We'll arrive near Puente de Dios, a grotto surrounded by waterfalls. After exploring the grotto, we'll visit the Tamasopo waterfalls, where you can try vine-swinging.

Xilitla and Sótano de las Golondrinas

This tour takes us to Xilitla and the Edward James Surrealist Garden to observe its unique structures. We'll then visit Golondrinas Basement, a 512-meter (1,679-foot) deep karst cave.

Mantetzulel Caves and Huichihuayan Springs

This tour to the Mantetzulel Caves includes the Holy Spirit Grotto and Luz del Sol Cave. We will also enter the cave where the Huichihuayan River begins and enjoy a swim.

Lunch
