Power Snorkelling

On this power snorkelling experience in Tahiti, we'll use an aquatic propeller to explore the seabed of the largest island in French Polynesia.

Description

The power snorkel, or sea scooter snorkel, is a way of snorkelling using an aquatic propeller. Adjust your mask, tube, and fins to participate. The activity begins at a time you choose at Marina Taina in Tahiti, where equipment will be provided. After gearing up, we will travel by speedboat to a diving point to use our aquatic propellers and explore the French Polynesian seafloor.

Options

When making your reservation, you can choose from the following options:

Punaauia Coral Reef tour (2 hours)

Explore the Punaauia Coral Reef, located west of Tahiti, known for its crystal-clear waters. You will see various tropical fish and sea turtles. From August to November, additional marine mammals like dolphins and humpback whales may be seen.

Tahiti Lagoon tour (2 hours)

Dive into the Tahiti lagoon to explore its waters. You will encounter various coral reefs and tropical fish, and explore sunken boats.

Submarine safari (4 hours)

This longest option includes a submarine safari in Tahiti. Start with power snorkelling in the Punaauia Coralreef, then visit The Aquarium for plane wreckages and shipwrecks. Next is White Valley for spotting sharks and dolphins, and immerse at The Source for close encounters with turtles and spotted eagle rays, concluding at Mount Rae Rae to see a shipwreck.
