The Zagorochoria region features springs and mountainous landscapes. Participants will experience an exhilarating time while abseiling down the Nefeli gorge.

Abseiling in Nefeli Gorge

At 10 am, attendees will meet at the parking lot on the Epar.Od. Kalpakiou-Papigkou road to move towards the Nefeli Gorge.

This gorge is situated in the region of Zagorochoria, known for its villages, monasteries, and stone bridges. Streams flow year-round from the peaks of Astraka and Tsouka, creating a lush landscape.

The activity starts with a 15-minute walk to explore the local vegetation and wildlife. At the trail's end, waterfalls and natural slides are present, some reaching 24 meters (82 feet) in height.

The tour concludes with a 45-minute walk through the gorge's high rocky walls to exit. Participants are expected to return to the starting point around 3 pm.
