On this bioluminescence tour in Playa Muertos, we'll admire one of the most amazing natural phenomena in Costa Rica and the world. You'll even be able to swim with these microorganisms!

Playa Muertos Bioluminescence Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet you at Pochote beach. We will board a boat to sail to Playa Muertos. While sailing, we'll witness the sunset over the Nicoya Peninsula as night begins.

Fresh juices and seasonal fruit will be served on board. Once at our destination, we will anchor the boat and put on our snorkeling gear to dive into the water and observe the bioluminescent plankton closely. We will learn about the microorganisms that emit a brilliant blue color during this experience.

After this activity, we will return to the starting point, concluding the tour after an hour and a half.
