Pochote Whale Watching Tour

At the appointed time, we'll meet at Pochote Beach and board a boat to search for cetaceans in their natural habitat.

Costa Rica's coastline is home to numerous species of marine mammals, making it an ideal location for whale and dolphin watching activities. During the crossing, we'll approach the best areas off the coast of Pochote to spot these aquatic animals.

On board, we'll share interesting information about the cetaceans we see. Whales typically choose the Pacific waters of Central America to escape the cold of the northwestern United States. The warmer waters also allow whale calves to grow faster.

A highlight of the tour is spotting the friendly dolphins that swim alongside the boat. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled.

Following this experience, we'll head back to the starting point, concluding the tour after five and a half hours.
