Spectacular beaches, dramatic cliffs, golden sand dunes and a wealth of wildlife: discover the incredible biodiversity of Peru on this tour of the Paracas National Reserve.
Paracas National Reserve Tour
After being picked up from your hotel at the indicated time, you'll set off to the Paracas National Reserve, a protected area of coastal desert in Peru. The first stop will be the Interpretation Centre, where we'll learn more about the ecosystems of the reserve.
During a 2.5-hour tour, we'll visit the beaches, cliffs, and dunes of the Paracas National Reserve, including a close look at the Cathedral, a rock formation created by wind erosion. We'll investigate the history of the Paracas culture, a pre-Columbian civilization that inhabited these lands for several centuries.
While learning about the nature and history of the Reserve, we'll also observe the native fauna, particularly flamingos and plovers that inhabit the area. Finally, we'll return to your hotel in Paracas.
Partial Closures
The Interpretation Center is temporarily closed, so we'll spend more time visiting the Paracas National Reserve instead.
