Speed through the South Paracas Desert aboard a powerful buggy on our tour. You'll also have the chance to go sandboarding in one of South America's most beautiful desert landscapes.

South Paracas Desert Buggy Tour

We will pick you up from your hotel at the scheduled time and head to Pozo Sur in the southern part of the Paracas Desert.

Before boarding the buggies, we will discuss safety regulations regarding these 4x4 vehicles. During the buggy ride, we will learn why Paracas means "sand rain" in Quechua.

As we navigate the sand dunes, we will experience both gentle and extreme riding, with stops for scenery appreciation and photo opportunities.

We will reach the top of the dunes for sandboarding, a popular adventure sport in the area. Instruction will be provided for those unfamiliar with the sport, including techniques for sitting or lying down on the board. The more adventurous can attempt to surf down dunes over 160 feet (50 meters) high.

After this exhilarating experience, we will return to your hotel in Paracas.
