Having picked you up from your hotel at the scheduled time, we'll set off for Pozo Sur in the south of the Paracas Desert.

Before we hop aboard the buggies, we'll discuss safety regulations related to these powerful 4x4 vehicles that will take us around the different sized dunes. During the buggy ride, we'll discover why Paracas means "sand rain" in Quechua.

As we navigate the winding sand dunes, we'll alternate between gentle, moderate, and extreme riding. We'll also stop along the way for you to enjoy the scenery and take photos.

We'll make our way to the top of the perfect dunes for sandboarding, a popular adventure sport in the area. Instructions will be provided for beginners, allowing you to practice sitting or lying on the board. Those seeking more thrill will have the option to surf over dunes over 160 feet (50 metres) high.

After this unique adrenaline rush, we'll return to your hotel in Paracas.
