Buggy Adventure in the South Paracas Desert

We will pick you up from your accommodation at the predetermined time and journey towards Pozo Sur, located in the southern region of the Paracas Desert.

Prior to our buggy expedition, we will outline essential safety guidelines related to these powerful 4x4 vehicles, which will expertly guide us across varying dune heights. As we traverse the undulating sand formations, you'll learn the fascinating reason why Paracas translates to "sand rain" in the Quechua language.

While navigating the impressive dunes, you'll be captivated by one of the continent's most magnificent desert environments. Our ride will include a mix of mild, moderate, and intense driving experiences. We will pause at various points to soak in the breathtaking views and capture photographs.

Our journey will lead us to the apex of prime dunes for sandboarding, a thrilling adventure sport cherished in the region. If you’re new to sandboarding, don’t fret! We will provide instructions to help you get accustomed to the technique, whether you prefer sitting or lying down on the board. For the more adventurous souls, there’s the chance to glide down monumental dunes that soar over 160 feet (50 meters).

Following this exhilarating experience, we will head back to your hotel in Paracas.
