Apart from its charming historic center, Paraty is also home to breathtaking underwater wonders. We'll take you to discover its rich marine life on this beginner-level scuba diving experience on the Brazilian coast.

Beginner Scuba Dive in Paraty

On the day of the activity, we'll meet at the dock of the Marina do Engenho to board a boat to the diving spot along the coast of Paraty.

Before diving, the instructor will explain the technical aspects necessary for safe participation. We'll learn how to use the equipment, breathe underwater, and communicate with hand signals. Then, we will dive into the Atlantic.

This diving experience will last between 30 and 45 minutes, at a depth of 4 to 8 meters (13-26 feet). We'll observe marine plants and wildlife up close in the calm waters.

After returning to the surface, we'll relax on the boat and enjoy a snack and drink to replenish after the underwater adventure.

Finally, we'll sail back to the departure dock, arriving at around 2 pm.
