Paraty Beaches & Mangroves Kayaking Tour

On this kayak tour, we'll paddle through the calm waters of Paraty Bay, passing by its beaches and mangroves. Stops include Itú and Malvão islands and Praia do Rosa.

Upon reservation, you can choose between 2 options, both including equipment and an English-speaking guide:

Beach tour (2.5 hours)

Meet at Praia do Pontal at the specified time to start the kayak tour along Paraty's coast. We'll first explain the basic safety rules and kayak handling. Then, we'll head into Paraty Bay.

Paraty Bay features more than 65 islands. During the tour, we will pass beaches including Ilha da Bexiga, Duas Irmãs, and dos Pombos, with free time for a swim on one of the beaches. We'll paddle along the shores to capture the views of Paraty Bay and return to the starting point after 2.5 hours.

Mangrove tour (3.5 hours)

This tour offers a more adventurous route. After a brief safety talk, we will paddle through the mangroves of Jabaquara, then explore the mangroves of Ilha do Itú and Várzea do Corumbê. We will encounter remote beaches, islands, and key natural reserves of Paraty. The exploration concludes after 3.5 hours with a return to the meeting point.
