At the scheduled time, we'll meet in front of the Matriz Church to begin the cachaça tour of Paraty, combining history with tasting sessions.

During the tour, you'll learn about the history of cachaça, including the arrival of sugar cane in Brazil and its production process, along with connections to Africa. You'll discover its importance as one of the country’s key products.

We will visit 5 cachaça bars in Paraty: Armazém da Cachaça, Cachaçaria Cana Caiana, Alambique Antônio Mello, Empório da Cachaça, and Escritório da Cachaça. At these venues, we will sample different types of cachaça and liqueurs, including the famous Jorge Amado cocktail.

Paraty is also known for its culinary scene, and throughout the tour, we will provide recommendations for restaurants to suit your tastes.

Finally, we will conclude our exploration at the Cachaça Office after a tour lasting between 1 hour 40 minutes and 2 hours.
