On this kayak tour, we'll paddle through the calm waters of Paraty Bay, exploring its beaches, islands, and mangroves.

Tour Options

You can choose your preferred kayak tour in Paraty. All options start at Praia do Pontal and include necessary equipment and an English-speaking guide. A brief explanation of technique and safety rules will be provided before you begin.

Below are the details of each route:

Pomba Island Tour (2 Hours)

This tour starts at Jabaquara beach and proceeds through the mangrove forest in Paraty, where you can observe diverse wildlife, including exotic birds and capybaras. The tour continues to Pombas Island, known for its bromeliads and marine life. We’ll return to Praia do Pontal as the afternoon light fades.

Paraty Islands Tour (2.5 Hours)

During this tour, we’ll paddle around some of the 65 islands of Paraty Bay, including Bexiga Island and Pigeon Island. The tour includes a stop for swimming in the local waters.

Mangrove Tour (3 Hours)

This adventurous route begins with a safety talk and then explores the mangroves of Jabaquara, Ilha do Itú, and Várzea do Corumbê, passing by remote beaches and natural reserves.
