Praia do Sono Hiking Tour

We'll meet at 7:30 am on Roberto Silveira Avenue in Paraty and drive to Laranjeiras, located 28 kilometers (17 miles) away.

Upon arrival, we will begin our hike to Praia do Sono, which will take approximately an hour and a half. During the hike, we will traverse landscapes of the Atlantic Forest and pass through the Environmental Protection Area (APA) of Cairuçu, where indigenous tribes such as caiçaras and quilombolas reside. Participants will have the opportunity to swim in one of the local streams before resuming the hike.

Upon reaching Praia do Sono, you will have free time to sample local caiçara cuisine at one of the restaurants. You can also relax on the beach and swim in the turquoise waters. For those seeking additional adventure, there is an option to continue hiking for another 40 minutes to the deserted beach of Antigos, which offers stunning views but requires traversing an uphill path.

After a day in nature, we will walk back to Laranjeiras, where the bus will await to return us to Paraty, arriving at approximately 2:30 pm.
