Louvre Museum Guided Tour Itinerary

At your chosen time, we'll meet at the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, located across from the glass pyramid of the Louvre Museum.

From there, we will visit the museum’s main collections on a guided tour. You will see the Winged Victory of Samothrace in the Greek Sculpture halls, along with other significant statues such as the Greek goddess Artemis and the Sleeping Hermaphroditus.

Also included is the Gallery of Apollo, adorned through the commission of Louis XIV. You will view the Great Sphinx of Tanis, dated to 2600 BC.

In terms of painting masterpieces, the tour features the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, alongside works by Rubens, Goya, and Delacroix.

The Louvre contains an extensive collection of significant paintings, including The Wedding at Cana by Veronese, Liberty Leading the People by Delacroix, and The Turkish Bath by Ingres.

After the 2-3 hour guided tour, you can remain in the Louvre to continue exploring the world’s largest museum. Your ticket is valid until closing time that same day.
