Description

Located on the banks of the Seine, near the Eiffel Tower, the Musée du Quai Branly - Jacques Chirac features a significant anthropological collection. The building, designed by architect Jean Nouvel, also includes a garden with over 150 botanical species.

Your ticket allows access to both the permanent collection and temporary exhibitions related to art, culture, history, and traditions of civilisations from Africa, America, Asia, and Oceania.

In the African sections, you'll find archaeological pieces from Mali, Benin, and Nigeria, with notable objects from the Congo and masks from Cameroon and Ethiopia. The Americas exhibit figures and sculptures from pre-Columbian civilisations such as the Mayans and Aztecs, including clothing from various native peoples. The Asian rooms showcase cultures from India, China, Japan, and others, while the Oceania area focuses on Australian and New Zealand art.
