Notre Dame Guided Tour

On this tour of the Ile de la Cité, we'll walk through the oldest part of Paris, where we'll see Notre-Dame Cathedral from the outside and visit the church of Saint-Severin.

Tour Details

We'll meet at the designated time at 7 Rue Lagrange. From there, we'll take a walk along the banks of the River Seine to the Ile de la Cité, home to Notre-Dame Cathedral.

We will not enter the cathedral, but will observe its façade and discuss the fire that occurred on 15 April 2019.

Next, we'll explore the Ile de la Cité, learning about its history and viewing the exteriors of iconic structures such as the Sainte Chapelle and the Conciergerie fortress.

Finally, we will go to the Latin Quarter to visit the church of Saint Séverin, recognized for its gothic architecture. We will enter to appreciate its architecture, stained glass windows, and artworks.

The tour will conclude outside the church after this 2-hour activity.
