Tour of the Palace of Versailles

At your chosen time, we will depart from Paris and arrive in Versailles by bus in about 45 minutes. After visiting the interior of the palace, you'll have free time to explore the Versailles gardens, which span 800 hectares, featuring trees, plants, statues, and ponds. On select days, the fountains will be operational at no extra cost.

The total duration for the visit to the palace and gardens is two hours. Afterward, we will return to Paris. The guided tour of the palace will allow you to enter without waiting in line. The tour includes stops in various rooms, such as the King's and Queen's Grand Apartments and the Hall of Mirrors, where the Treaty of Versailles was signed in 1919.

After the 1.5-hour guided tour, you'll have free time to explore the gardens further. Return to Paris will be between 4.5 and 7 hours after the initial pick-up, depending on your chosen option.

Tour Options

You can choose one of the following options when making your reservation:

4.5-Hour Tour + Audio Guide

This option includes return transport from Paris with 3 departures: 8:15 am, 11 am, and 2 pm, plus an English audio guide to visit the palace which can be downloaded.

4.5-Hour Guided Tour

This option provides return transport from Paris with one afternoon departure at 2 pm and an English-speaking guide. Availability may vary by season.

7-Hour Guided Tour

This includes transport to and from Paris with morning departures at 8:15 am and 11 am, an English-speaking guide, and entrance to the Petit and Grand Trianon palaces.

Duration of the Tour

The guided tour will last 1.5 hours. Morning departures provide longer garden visitation time, and the 7-hour option includes a free tour of the Trianon palaces.

Skip The Line Entrance

Guided tour participants enter through the group entrance, while audio-guided participants use the normal entrance. In both cases, there is no wait at the ticket office, but expect to wait at the security checkpoint.
