Day 1: Arrival in Bhutan - Thimphu

Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be picked up and taken to Paro Ta Dzong, Bhutan's national museum. Then, a 1-hour drive along the Paro and Thimphu rivers will lead to the capital, Thimphu, at 2,320 meters (7,611 feet) above sea level. You may stop at Tamchhog Lhakhang before dinner and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Thimphu

After breakfast, the day will involve visiting various sites in Thimphu, including the Buddha Site, Folklore Museum, painting schools, farmer's market, and memorial Chorten. In the evening, a visit to Tashichho Dzong fortress is planned, followed by dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Thimphu – Punakha

Following breakfast, the trip to Punakha via Dochula Pass includes a stop for a hot drink and Himalayan views. The afternoon features visits to Dzong de Punakha and Chimi Lhakhang, with an optional rafting activity on Mochu River in the evening. Dinner will be at the hotel.

Day 4: Punakha – Paro – Paro Taktshang

After breakfast, travel to Paro for a 4-hour hike to Taktshang (Tiger's Nest monastery). For those not hiking, views from below are available. Next, a 40-minute drive to Chele La pass at 3,300 meters (10,826 feet) will provide views of Mount Jomo Lhari. The evening is free for personal exploration in Paro, followed by dinner at the hotel.

Day 5: Return flight

After breakfast, you will be taken back to Paro airport, concluding your 5-day journey through Bhutan.

Accommodation

The tour includes 4 nights of accommodation in a double room at a 3-star hotel. Odd-numbered parties will be paired into double rooms; triple-room accommodation is not available.
