Canoeing down the River Sella is a popular activity in Spain, allowing you to sail at your own pace in the beautiful Asturian region.
Description
Participants will meet at the scheduled time at Plaza Venancio Pando de Arriondas before heading to the River Sella banks. A 15-minute briefing will be provided by the guide before getting into the canoes. During this 4-hour excursion, you will paddle downstream to explore the landscape between Arriondas and Llovio, as well as nearby towns. A picnic lunch is available upon request, including a sandwich, a candy bar, a fruit, and a bottle of water. After the descent, participants will return to the meeting point.
Schedule
The descent is done individually every 15 minutes, available between 11 am and 6 pm.

Routes
Depending on preference, participants can choose from the following routes, all starting from Arriondas:
7 km (4.3 miles) Route: takes 1 to 2 hours, reaching the Nuevo Tora denomination.12 km (7.4 miles) Route: takes 2.5 to 3 hours, paddling to Llordón.15 km (9.3 miles) Route: lasts 4.5 hours, passing by Arriondas and Toraño to Llovio.
Requirements
The minimum age to participate is 6 years, with a height requirement of at least 120 cm (3'11").
