Nariño Coffee Tour

On this coffee tour, we'll discover the aromas and flavours of the department of Nariño with a tasting of different types of coffee, one of the most consumed beverages in the world.

At the selected time, we'll meet next to the monument of Antonio Nariño and leave towards the heart of Nariño, surrounded by its mountain range.

The climate in this region of southwestern Colombia is varied, supporting diverse crops, including coca leaves and coffee. Nariño's rural families, many displaced due to armed conflict, cultivate the coffee plantations, a key product of the country.

We'll drive through the mountains of Nariño, admiring the extensive coffee plantations. After a 15-minute drive, we'll arrive at a coffee processing laboratory to learn how coffee is made from bean to cup.

Afterwards, we'll visit a local coffee shop for a tasting of Nariño coffees brewed through three different processes, allowing you to recognise each one by its aroma and flavour.

Finally, we'll return to Pasto and leave you at the departure point three hours after the tour starts.
