The 'Surprise City', the 'Theological City'... Pasto has various names and attractions to explore on this tour.

Pasto Tour

We will meet at 2 pm in the central Plaza de Nariño to begin our tour of Pasto's iconic sites, known as the 'Surprise City'. You will discover the reason behind this nickname during the tour.

After learning about Pasto's history at Plaza de Nariño, we will visit its 25 churches, which led to its recognition as the 'Theological City of Colombia'.

We will admire the cathedral Corazón de Jesús, the church of San Juan, and the churches of Cristo Rey and La Merced. Next, the tour will continue at the Carnival Museum to explore exhibits on this local celebration and varnishing workshops, a notable craft technique in the city.

The tour will conclude with a focus on Pasto's cuisine. Participants will witness the process of making traditional paila ice cream and enjoy a tasting of Colombian coffee, guided by an expert barista who will share insights on brewing methods.

We will return to the starting point at 6 pm.
