Pasto Tour
We'll meet at 2 pm in the central Plaza de Nariño to start the tour of the iconic places in Pasto, known as the 'Surprise City'. The first stop will be the Plaza de Nariño, where we will learn about the history of Pasto. The town features 25 churches, earning it the name 'Theological City of Colombia'.
We will admire the exterior of the cathedral Corazón de Jesús, the church of San Juan, and the churches of Cristo Rey and La Merced. Next, we will visit the Carnival Museum to explore samples of the local celebration and varnishing workshops, a craft technique of the city.
The tour will also include a segment on Pasto's cuisine, where you can see the preparation of traditional paila ice cream and participate in a tasting of Colombian coffee, guided by an expert barista.
The tour will conclude with a return to the starting point at 6 pm.
