The Kyzylkum desert features unique landscapes and is worth exploring on this 2-day private tour from Samarkand. The itinerary includes visits to the ancient city of Nurota and Lake Aidar, along with an overnight stay in a yurt camp.

Kyzylkum Desert 2-Day Tour

Day 1: Samarkand - Nurota - Kyzylkum

Pick-up will be at your hotel in Samarkand, followed by a four-hour minibus journey to the Kyzylkum desert. The first stop is Nurota, where we will explore the Chashma complex and the ancient Juma Mosque, among other sites. A traditional lunch will be provided in Nurota.

In the afternoon, we will reach the Kyzylkum desert yurt camp. Free time will be allocated to swim in Aidar Lake, followed by a traditional dinner and a folk show in the evening.

Day 2: Kyzylkum - Bukhara - Samarkand

Wake up in the desert, and enjoy breakfast at the yurt camp while watching the sunrise. We will then head back to Samarkand, stopping in Bukhara for lunch. At the time of reservation, you may indicate if you wish to conclude the tour in Bukhara or return to Samarkand, where arrival is expected at 5 pm.

Accommodation

The tour includes 1 night's accommodation in a desert yurt camp, featuring spacious tents with a capacity for 4 people, providing a genuine experience of Central Asian nomadic life.
