Kyzylkum Desert 2-Day Tour

Day 1: Samarkand - Nurota - Kyzylkum

Pickup from your hotel in Samarkand will occur at the scheduled time, followed by a four-hour minibus ride to the Kyzylkum desert, known for its "red sand." The first stop is Nurota, where you'll see the Chashma complex, an ancient fortress from the 4th century BC, and visit the Juma Mosque, the Panjvaqta Mosque, and the Arabian baths. A traditional lunch will be served in Nurota.

In the late afternoon, you'll arrive at the Kyzylkum desert yurt camp for the night. You will have free time to swim in Aidar Lake, followed by a traditional dinner and a folk show, offering insights into desert life.

Day 2: Kyzylkum - Bukhara - Samarkand

Wake up in the desert and enjoy breakfast at the yurt camp while witnessing the sunrise over the sands. After breakfast, return to Samarkand, stopping in Bukhara for lunch. You can indicate whether you prefer to conclude the tour in Bukhara or return to Samarkand. If you choose the latter, arrival at your hotel in Samarkand is expected by 5 pm.
