Kyzylkum Desert 2-Day Tour
Day 1: Samarkand - Nurota - Kyzylkum
Pickup from your hotel in Samarkand will occur at the specified time for a four-hour minibus journey to the Kyzylkum desert, known in Uzbek as "red sand." The first stop is Nurota, featuring the Chashma complex, an ancient fortress from the 4th century BC, and significant sites like the Juma Mosque, Panjvaqta Mosque, and Arabian baths. A traditional lunch will be provided in Nurota.
In the late afternoon, arrive at the Kyzylkum desert yurt camp for an overnight stay. Enjoy free time to swim in Lake Aidar, followed by a traditional dinner and a folk show in the evening.
Day 2: Kyzylkum - Bukhara - Samarkand
Experience an early morning in the desert with breakfast at the yurt camp, enjoying the sunrise over Kyzylkum sands. The return to Samarkand includes a stop in Bukhara for lunch on your own. You can indicate during your reservation if you wish to conclude the tour in Bukhara or Samarkand, with return to the Samarkand hotel scheduled for 5 pm if chosen.
