The tour is completely private, including a car, driver, and English-speaking guide from the Beijing Capital Airport pickup until drop off. Depending on the layover duration, the itinerary can be modified according to your preferences.

During the booking process, you can choose between the following itineraries:

5-hour Beijing Tour

Visit locations such as Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City.

6-Hour Great Wall Tour

Explore the Great Wall of China in the Mutianyu area.

9-Hour Complete Tour

Visit the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, and Forbidden City. If time permits, see main shopping streets in Beijing. Includes tickets to the cable car and toboggan at the Great Wall.

Important Info

The total roundtrip takes approximately 1.5 hours, and return to the Beijing Capital Airport is required 2.5 hours before flight departure. Thus, the tour duration is 4 hours less than your layover duration. A 5-hour tour is recommended for a 9-hour layover.

This tour is only available to and from Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK). The tour is not possible from Beijing-Daxing International Airport (PKK).

Monument Schedule

Although the tour can be personalised, itineraries are based on visiting main monuments:

The Forbidden City: High season 8:30 am - 4:30 pm; Low season 8:30 am - 3:30 pm. If your flight arrives after 12 pm, you cannot visit. Closed on Mondays. Availability is limited; a booking at least 7 days in advance is recommended.The Great Wall of China: 8 am - 5:30 pm. If your flight arrives after 2 pm, you cannot visit.
