Beijing Food Tour

Chinese cuisine has spread globally, but experiencing the original is special during this food tour of Beijing.

Tour Details

Participants will meet at the Zhangzizhong subway station at the designated time to begin a wak around the old town. Various restaurants will be visited to sample traditional snacks complemented by beer, soft drinks, or Beijing drinkable yoghurt. Highlights include dumplings and traditional Beijing appetisers.

Appetisers include beef wrapped in pancakes, lvdagunr (rice rolls with bean paste), aiwowo (steamed rice cakes with sweet filling), pea flour cake, skewers, and pancakes, among other local dishes.

Following the tastings, participants will walk through the hutong to the local marketplace, where they will engage with locals and learn about the products sampled earlier. The tour lasts 3 hours and concludes at the Beixinqiao metro station.
