Beijing & Shanghai Tour Package: 7 Days

Day 1: Beijing

Upon arrival at Beijing airport, a representative will greet you and take you to your hotel for three nights. The rest of the day is free to settle in.

Day 2: Beijing

After breakfast, visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, home to emperors until 1911. Enjoy lunch at a traditional local restaurant, explore the Hutong streets of old Beijing, and visit Jingshan Park for a Chinese Tea House experience. The day ends at 5:30 pm, allowing time for dinner and nightlife.

Day 3: The Great Wall of China - Beijing

Pick-up at 8:00 am to visit the Great Wall of China at the Mutianyu area via cable car. Lunch at a local restaurant at 12:30 pm, followed by stops at the National Stadium and National Aquatics Centre. Return to the hotel by 5:30 pm.

Day 4: Beijing - Shanghai

After breakfast, head to the Beijing train station for a high-speed train to Shanghai, approximately five and a half hours. Upon arrival, a guide will meet you and take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free.

Day 5: Shanghai

At 9:00 am, visit Shanghai's historic center to see traditional Shikumen buildings. Explore the Yu Garden and have lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Shanghai's Old Street, visit the Silk Museum, walk along the Bund, and visit the Shanghai History Museum. Return to your hotel by 5:30 pm.

Day 6: Shanghai

After breakfast, visit Zhujiajiao, a historic Water Town. Enjoy free time for exploration or a boat tour. Lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel.

Day 7: Shanghai

Free day in Shanghai. Depending on your flight schedule, meet for transfer to the airport to conclude the tour.

Important Info

Participants must have a flight arriving in Beijing and a flight departing from Shanghai, arriving on the booking date and departing seven days later.

Note that the high-speed train journey will not have a guide, but someone will be awaiting your arrival in Shanghai.

Tour Meals

Four lunch meals are included, excluding the first, fourth, and last days. Accommodation includes breakfast daily.
