Beijing & Shanghai Tour Package: 7 Days

Day 1: Beijing

Upon arrival at Beijing airport, we will take you to your hotel for the next three nights. You will have the rest of the day free.

Day 2: Beijing

After breakfast, we will visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, home to Chinese emperors until 1911. Lunch will be at a traditional local restaurant. We will explore the Hutong streets and visit Jingshan Park and a Chinese Tea House, ending the day at 5:30 pm at the hotel.

Day 3: The Great Wall of China - Beijing

We will pick you up at 8:00 am to visit the Great Wall at the Mutianyu area via cable car. Lunch will be at a local restaurant at 12:30 pm. On the way back to Beijing, we will stop at the National Stadium and the National Aquatics Centre, finishing the day at 5:30 pm.

Day 4: Beijing - Shanghai

After breakfast, we will head to Beijing train station for a high-speed train to Shanghai, approximately five and a half hours. A guide will meet you at the station and take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free.

Day 5: Shanghai

At 9:00 am, we will visit Shanghai's historic center, Yu Garden, and have lunch at a local restaurant. We will continue to Shanghai's Old Street, visit the Silk Museum, and walk along the Bund, with an ascent of the Oriental Pearl Tower. We will return to your hotel around 5:30 pm.

Day 6: Shanghai

After breakfast, we will visit Zhujiajiao Water Town for exploration and optional boat tours. We will have lunch at a local restaurant and return to the hotel.

Day 7: Shanghai

You will have the day free to explore Shanghai. Depending on your flight time, we will take you to the airport to conclude the tour.

Important Information

For this tour, you will need a flight arriving in Beijing and departing from Shanghai seven days later. During the high-speed train journey, you will not be accompanied by a guide.

Meals

Four lunch meals are included; evening meals are not. Breakfast is included daily for the six nights of accommodation.

This tour includes six nights of accommodation in a double room. The price is per person for double occupancy. A 3-star or 5-star hotel can be selected based on availability.
