Great Wall of China Day Trip

Day Trip Details

At the scheduled time, we’ll meet at one of the designated meeting points and set off by bus toward the Great Wall of China, specifically to the Mutianyu section. The journey takes about an hour and a half, offering insights about this structure which dates back to the 5th century.

Upon arrival, we’ll skip the long lines and proceed inside, allowing you free time for self-guided exploration of Mutianyu, known for its mountain scenery. You can undertake a 6-km (3.7 mi) hike to one of the highest towers, or purchase a ticket on-site for the cable car.

After your time at the wall, we’ll return to the bus for the journey back to Beijing, dropping you off at Dongzhimen Subway Station. The full excursion lasts between 6 and 8.5 hours, depending on your selection.

This day trip varies in duration based on your selected time:

Morning Day Trip: 5 hours of free time at the Great Wall, total duration of 8.5 hours.Afternoon Day Trip: 2.5 hours of free time at the Great Wall, total duration of 6 hours.

Add Lunch or a Guided Tour

If you select the morning option, you may include a Chinese buffet lunch at Mubus Restaurant. If you choose the option with a mini tour, we’ll conduct a short 30-minute tour to learn about the architecture and history of this New Wonder of the World.
