The Great Wall of China is a notable symbol of the country. On this day trip, you'll walk the landmark, climb defensive towers, and enjoy the landscapes.

Great Wall of China Day Trip

The Great Wall spans almost 5,600 miles (9,000 km), with several sections to visit. You can choose between three sections:

Badaling

This is the most tourist-friendly and restored section. It tends to be busy, making it possibly less ideal for some visitors. The tour lasts for two hours.

Mutianyu

This section is well-preserved, with fewer tourists and scenic surroundings. It served as a northern barrier for the capital and imperial burial sites. The tour lasts almost 2 hours.

Simatai or Jinshanling

This tour features steeper, less restored sections, suitable for those seeking a more challenging experience. It lasts between 2.5 and 3.5 hours, depending on the chosen route.

The Ming Tombs (Underground Palace)

If you choose Badaling, you can visit the Ming Tombs on the return to Beijing. Ask your guide for scheduling.

Important

Tickets are not included but will be purchased in advance by the supplier to avoid long queues. To facilitate this, provide your name, surname, passport, and date of birth at booking. Ensure all details match your passport. On the tour day, you must pay the ticket price in cash to your guide.
