The Great Wall of China is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and serves as a key symbol of the country. This day trip allows you to walk the Wall, ascend its defensive towers, and appreciate the landscapes in the region.

Great Wall of China Day Trip

The Great Wall spans approximately 5,600 miles (9,000 km), with several visitable sections. You can choose from three main parts:

Badaling

This is the best restored and most touristic section, making it quite busy. Suitable for those who enjoy a lively atmosphere, this tour lasts for two hours.

Mutianyu

Recommended for most travelers, this section offers stunning surroundings and fewer tourists. It is well-preserved and formerly served as a northern defense for the capital. This tour lasts almost 2 hours.

Simatai or Jinshanling

This section features steeper, less restored areas suitable for physically active individuals. This trekking-style tour lasts between 2.5 to 3.5 hours, depending on the chosen route.

The Ming Tombs (Underground Palace)

If you choose the Badaling tour, you can visit the Ming Tombs (The Underground Palace) on your return to Beijing. Coordinate with your guide for scheduling.

Important

Tickets are not included in the tour price, but the supplier will purchase them in advance to minimize queues. You must provide your name, surname, passport number, and date of birth when booking. Ensure that these details match your passport to avoid access issues. Payment for tickets must be made in cash to your guide on the tour day.
