Simatai Great Wall & Gubei Water Town Private Day Trip

Join us on a private tour from Beijing to explore the Simatai section of the Great Wall of China and Gubei Water City.

Tour Highlights

Your journey begins with pickup from your hotel in Beijing at the designated time. We will enjoy a scenic drive of approximately two hours to Gubeikou, known as the Water City of Gubei.

Upon arrival, you will have about an hour of free time to explore the quaint streets of Gubei. This area provides excellent views of the Simatai section of the Great Wall.

While in Gubei, you can also take a leisurely boat ride along the canals to appreciate the town's architecture and scenery. A stop at a local restaurant for a buffet-style lunch will follow if you choose.

After lunch, we will proceed to the Great Wall of China, reaching the Simatai section via cable car. This section is noted for its preservation and offers stunning views. You will have approximately two hours to explore the wall and witness a breathtaking sunset.

The day concludes with our descent from the wall and return to Beijing. Expect to arrive at your hotel about 12 to 14 hours after pickup, marking the end of the excursion.
