Join us on a private day trip from Beijing to explore the Simatai section of the Great Wall and Gubei Water City.

Day Trip Details

Your journey begins with a pickup from your hotel in Beijing at the designated time. We will take a scenic drive of approximately two hours to reach Gubeikou, home to the historic Water City of Gubei.

Upon arrival, you'll have about one hour of free time to explore Gubei’s streets, which provide excellent views of the Simatai section of the Great Wall. You can also take a leisurely boat ride along its canals to see the town's traditional architecture. A buffet-style lunch is available at a local restaurant if desired.

After lunch, we will proceed to the Great Wall of China, taking a cable car to the Simatai section, known for its preservation. You will spend two hours walking along the wall, enjoying panoramic views and a breathtaking sunset.

As the day concludes, we will descend and return to our transport for the journey back to Beijing, with an expected arrival at your hotel 12 to 14 hours after pickup.
