On this tour, we will explore two significant monuments in Beijing, the Summer Palace and the Temple of Heaven, with a visit to the Pearl Market included.

Summer Palace & Temple of Heaven

After collecting you from your hotel's foyer at the scheduled time, we will proceed to the Summer Palace, covering over 290 hectares. This site was utilized by the Qing dynasty emperors to escape summer heat. During the visit, we will examine the palace's notable features while learning about its history and legends.

Following the palace visit, we will stop for lunch at a location of your choice.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Temple of Heaven, a major sacred site where emperors conducted sacrifices to express gratitude and pray for good harvests. The surrounding park offers opportunities to observe local activities, including tai chi, card games, kite flying, and dance classes.

Our final destination will be the Pearl Market, adjacent to the temple, known for a variety of clothes, accessories, jewelry, and replicas.

The tour will conclude with a drop-off back at your hotel (or an alternate location) approximately 8 hours after pickup.

During winter or early summer finishes, we will also visit the Beijing Olympic Village.
