Summer Palace & Temple of Heaven Private Tour

On this tour, we will explore two essential monuments in Beijing: the Summer Palace and the Temple of Heaven. Additionally, there will be a visit to the Pearl Market.

Summer Palace & Temple of Heaven

After hotel pickup, we will proceed to the Summer Palace. This site covers 290 hectares and was used by the Qing dynasty emperors to escape summer heat. We will explore its most notable features and learn about their history and legends.

After the visit, we will have a break for lunch at a location of your choice.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Temple of Heaven, a significant sacred building where emperors made sacrifices to Heaven. The surrounding park is also notable for local activities such as tai chi, card games, kite flying, and dance classes.

The final stop is the Pearl Market, adjacent to the temple, offering a variety of clothing, accessories, jewelry, and replicas.

We will conclude the tour by returning you to your hotel or an alternate location, approximately 8 hours after pickup. During winter or on summer days when the tour ends early, we may also visit the Beijing Olympic Village.
