On this tour, we will explore two essential monuments in Beijing: the Summer Palace and the Temple of Heaven, and visit the Pearl Market.

Summer Palace & Temple of Heaven

After picking you up from your hotel's foyer, we will head to the Summer Palace, which spans over 290 hectares. This site was used by Qing dynasty emperors during summer. Our visit will focus on its history and legends.

After this visit, we will stop to eat at a place of your choice.

In the afternoon, we will proceed to the Temple of Heaven, one of China's largest sacred buildings, where emperors made sacrifices to Heaven for good harvests. The surrounding park is also notable for local activities such as tai chi, card games, kite flying, and dance classes.

The tour’s final stop is the Pearl Market, which offers a variety of clothes, accessories, jewelry, and replicas, despite its name suggesting a focus on pearls.

The tour concludes with a drop-off at your hotel (or an alternate location) 8 hours after the pickup. During winter or when the tour ends early in summer, we will also visit the Beijing Olympic Village.
