Summer Palace & Temple of Heaven Private Tour

On this tour, we will explore two essential monuments in Beijing: the Summer Palace and the Temple of Heaven, along with a visit to the famous Pearl Market.

Summer Palace & Temple of Heaven

After pickup from your hotel, we will visit the Summer Palace, a site covering over 290 hectares, historically used by Qing dynasty emperors to escape the summer heat. During our visit, we will explore significant parts of the palace and learn about its history.

After the visit, we will stop to eat at a location of your choice.

In the afternoon, we will proceed to the Temple of Heaven, one of the largest sacred buildings in China, where emperors performed sacrifices to thank Heaven for harvests. The surrounding park offers activities such as tai chi, card games, kite flying, and dance classes, showcasing local culture.

Our final stop will be the Pearl Market, known for clothes, accessories, jewelry, and replicas. We will conclude the tour and drop you back at your hotel (or an alternate location) 8 hours after pickup.

During winter, or summer if the tour concludes early, we will also visit the Beijing Olympic Village.
