Tour Details

Our journey begins early in the morning from Tiantandongmen Station. We will proceed to the Temple of Heaven, the largest imperial worship complex in China, where Ming and Qing dynasty emperors prayed for good harvests. We will admire the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, a masterpiece of ancient Chinese architecture.

Next, we will visit the Lama Temple, the most prestigious Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Beijing, featuring a blend of Han and Tibetan architectural styles. Here, we will see the Maitreya Buddha, carved from a single sandalwood tree and standing 18 m tall.

After the temple visit, we will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant featuring a traditional dish: Peking duck.

After lunch, we will head to the Summer Palace, an imperial garden recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will stroll along Kunming Lake and admire the Long Corridor, known for its painted scenes reflecting the harmony between man and nature.

As an optional activity, you can take a cruise on the Imperial Canal, historically used by royalty to access the Summer Palace by boat. Those who prefer not to take the cruise will have free time to explore the palace.

We will conclude the tour after a total of 8 hours.
