Tour Details

Our journey begins early in the morning at Tiantandongmen Station. We'll proceed to the Temple of Heaven, the largest imperial worship complex in China, where Ming and Qing dynasty emperors prayed for good harvests, admiring the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests.

Next, we will visit the Lama Temple, the most prestigious Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Beijing, demonstrating a blend of Han and Tibetan architectural styles. Here, we will see the Maitreya Buddha, carved from a single sandalwood tree and standing 18 m tall.

After the temple visit, enjoy a leisurely stroll through Beijing's hutongs, which preserve the legacy of old Beijing. You will have free time to explore and have lunch at local restaurants.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Summer Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the “Royal Garden Museum.” Stroll along Kunming Lake and admire the iconic Long Corridor featuring painted scenes that reflect man and nature's harmony.

An optional activity includes a cruise on the Imperial Canal at an additional cost of 12 EUR per person. This historic route was used by royalty to access the Summer Palace by boat. Those who do not take the cruise will have free time to continue exploring.

Finally, we will return to the city center, concluding the tour at the National Stadium, known as the Bird's Nest, where you can continue exploring and enjoy breathtaking views at night.
