The Great Wall of China Mutianyu Day Trip

Day Trip Details

At the scheduled time, we’ll meet at designated meeting points and set off by bus toward the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall of China. The journey takes about an hour and a half, providing insights about this structure dating back to the 5th century.

Upon arrival, we’ll skip the long lines and you’ll have free time to explore Mutianyu, known for its stunning mountain scenery. You can choose to hike a challenging 6-km (3.7 mi) route to one of the highest towers, or purchase a ticket for the cable car.

After your time at the wall, we’ll return to the bus for the trip back to Beijing, dropping you off at Dongzhimen Subway Station. The full trip lasts between 6 and 8.5 hours, depending on your choice.

Morning Day Trip: 5 hours of free time at the Great Wall; total duration is 8.5 hours.Afternoon Day Trip: 2.5 hours of free time at the Great Wall; total duration is 6 hours.

If you choose the morning trip, you can include a Chinese buffet lunch at Mubus Restaurant to recharge after your adventure. If you opt for a mini tour, we will provide a short 30-minute tour to learn about the architecture and history of this New Wonder of the World.
