The Great Wall of China Mutianyu Day Trip

Day Trip Details

At the scheduled time, we’ll meet at one of the designated meeting points and set off by bus toward the Great Wall of China, heading specifically to the Mutianyu section. The journey takes about an hour and a half, providing comfortable travel to this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Upon arrival, we’ll skip the long lines and head straight in, giving you free time to do a self-guided exploration of Mutianyu. You can choose to embark on a 6-km (3.7 mi) hike to one of the highest towers or purchase a ticket on-site for the cable car. The experience will be memorable.

After your time at the wall, we’ll return to the bus for the journey back to Beijing, dropping you off at Dongzhimen Subway Station. The full excursion lasts between 6 and 8.5 hours, depending on your selections.

Please note that, depending on the time you select during the booking process, this day trip has a different duration:

Morning Day Trip: You'll have 5 hours of free time at the Great Wall, with a total duration of 8.5 hours.Afternoon Day Trip: You'll have 2.5 hours of free time at the Great Wall, with a total duration of 6 hours.

Add Lunch or a Guided Tour

If you select the morning day trip, you can add a delicious Chinese buffet lunch at Mubus Restaurant. Additionally, if you choose the option with a mini tour, we'll conduct a short 30-minute tour to learn about the architecture and history of this New Wonder of the World.
