Your journey begins with a pickup from your hotel in Beijing at the scheduled time. From there, we'll head north of the capital, taking a scenic drive approximately two hours until we reach Gubeikou, an ancient village known as the Water City of Gubei with over a thousand years of history.

Upon arrival, you'll have about an hour of free time to explore the quaint streets of Gubei, soaking in the charm of this historic town. Gubei provides a picturesque backdrop for admiring the Simatai section of the Great Wall, offering one of the best views in the region.

While in Gubei, you can enjoy a leisurely boat ride along its tranquil canals, getting a closer look at the town's traditional architecture and scenic beauty. Following this, we will stop at a local restaurant for a buffet-style lunch, if you wish!

After lunch, we'll proceed to the Great Wall of China and ascent to the Simatai section via cable car. Simatai is well-preserved and gives a captivating insight into the grandeur of this ancient wonder. Over two hours, you'll traverse a significant portion of the wall, enjoying panoramic views and witnessing a breathtaking sunset.

As the day concludes, we'll descend from the Great Wall and return to our transport for the journey back to Beijing. Expect to arrive at your hotel approximately 12 to 14 hours after the initial pickup, rounding off this unforgettable excursion.
