Enjoy one of Finland's most deeply rooted traditions when you take this fantastic cross-country skiing trip in Pyhä-Luosto National Park. You will slide through the snow and discover the whitest Lapland.

Cross-Country Skiing in Pyha-Luosto National Park

We will meet at the Colorado Bar & Grill Pyhä at the time of your choice, where the guide will provide a brief presentation on the techniques for performing this activity. Then we will put on the cross-country skiing equipment and set off.

With poles in hand and boots on, we will enter the Christmas card landscape of Pyhä-Luosto National Park. We will practice our newly acquired techniques while skiing through the thick snowy forests that characterize the arctic wilderness.

We will slide among the trees and stop to admire the towering, snowcapped trees. Along the way, you will learn about the Lappish skiing tradition and how children begin to learn as soon as they can walk.

After the tour, we will stop at a rest area to enjoy a hot drink and warm up next to a fire. The activity concludes two and a half hours after we began, returning to the original starting point.
