Cross-Country Skiing in Pyha-Luosto National Park

Participants will convene at the Colorado Bar & Grill Pyhä, at a chosen time. The guide will provide an introduction to the techniques essential for this activity. Once equipped with cross-country skiing gear, we will begin our adventure.

With poles in hand and boots secured, we will venture into the picturesque landscape of Pyhä-Luosto National Park. Using our newly learned techniques, we will ski through the dense snowy forests that define the enchanting Arctic wilderness.

As we glide among the trees, we will take moments to appreciate the majestic, snow-covered trees. Along the journey, insights about the Lappish skiing tradition will be shared, including the fascinating principle that children start learning as soon as they can walk.

At the conclusion of our tour, we will pause at a rest area to enjoy a hot drink and warm ourselves by a fire. The activity wraps up at the original meeting point, two and a half hours after it began.
