Join us on a mountaineering course in the Pyhä-Luosto National Park. You will climb the snowy peaks of Lapland.
Mountaineering Course in Pyha-Luosto National Park
We'll meet at 9 am at the Pyhätunturi Hotel, then hike into the Pyhä-Luosto National Park. The guide will give a brief presentation and we will put on all the necessary equipment. A trial will be conducted to ensure mastery of the basic techniques before setting off on our adventure.
Using crampons and ice ax techniques, we will begin our ascent. We will navigate the steep terrain with the help of ropes as arctic climbers do.
As we climb, the guide will assist you and demonstrate the safest techniques. You will learn how explorers handle extreme conditions on expeditions. At the summit, we will enjoy exceptional views of the landscapes of Lapland.
Finally, you will have half an hour of free time to eat before we return to the starting point, concluding the activity at 5 pm.
