The Castle of Peñaranda de Duero is a significant fortress in the south of the province of Burgos. Your ticket grants access to the Torre del Homenaje, or Tower of Homage, which includes the Interpretation Center of the Border Castles. This center features panels, models, and interactive screens detailing the castle's history during the Middle Ages.

Inside the tower, you will learn about the history of the castle, which dates back to the 15th century and underwent remodeling by the Zúñiga family. Don't miss the dungeons in the basement, and visit the top floor for a lookout point with views of Peñaranda de Duero and the surroundings.
