On the via ferrata of La Hermida, participants will experience an adventure in the Cantabrian countryside.

Via Ferrata in La Hermida

Meeting will take place at the heavy vehicle parking of La Hermida. Attendees must follow the guide in their own vehicle to the via ferrata of La Hermida. Upon arrival, the group will be equipped and will begin walking to the starting point of the via ferrata, which is divided into three sections of varying difficulty. The ascent will involve climbing a steel cable, offering impressive mountain views.

The climbing portions will be interspersed with stair climbs and steep hiking routes through the Hermida gorge. The route features caves and flat areas suitable for pauses to enjoy the scenic beauty of the ancient path in the Peña Agero.

In the final stretch, participants will cross hanging bridges, both Tibetan and wooden, before descending through a vertical traverse to conclude the via ferrata experience, which lasts approximately four hours.
