Via Ferrata in La Hermida

On the via ferrata of La Hermida, participants will experience an adventure in the Cantabrian countryside.

Via Ferrata in La Hermida

Participants will meet at the heavy vehicle parking of La Hermida at the selected time. Following this, they will drive with the guide to the via ferrata of La Hermida.

Upon arrival, equipment will be provided, and a walk will commence to the start of the via ferrata in the Cantabrian Sea, which is divided into three sections of varying difficulty. The ascent along the steel cable will provide remarkable views of the mountains.

The climbing sections will alternate with stair climbs and steep hiking through the Hermida gorge. The route features caves and flat areas for breaks to appreciate the beauty of this ancient path in the Peña Agero.

In the final stretch, participants will cross hanging bridges (both Tibetan and wooden) and begin the return journey. The descent will include a vertical traverse until reaching the end of the via ferrata.

The experience concludes with a return to the starting point after four hours.
