Berlengas Islands & Caves Boat Tour
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Peniche Marina to start our boat tour to the Berlengas Islands. We'll set sail for a 30-minute cruise to the archipelago aboard a catamaran, observing the marine life in the waters off the coast of Portugal. The Berlengas Islands are a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, featuring remarkable underwater plants and wildlife.
Upon reaching Berlenga Grande, we'll transfer to a smaller boat with a glass bottom to visit the natural sea caves. We will take a 30-minute cruise to see the São João Batista Cave, the Blue Grotto, and the Furado Grande, which is a 70-metre natural tunnel leading to a bay. During the remaining free time, you'll be able to explore the island via different trails.
After approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes of cruising around the Berlengas Islands, we'll return to Peniche Marina to conclude the tour.

We'll spend 50 minutes visiting key points of interest on the island, which is the largest and only one that can be visited. Among the attractions are the fishermen's houses, the lighthouse, and the historic São João Baptista Fort, which has an entrance fee of 1EUR per person.
