Departure is at 8:30 am from the Peñíscola Tourist Office via minibus to Castellón de la Plana, with a journey time of just over an hour.

The first destination is El Grao de Castellón to explore the city's seafaring traditions, featuring views of the lighthouse, fishing port, and marina, along with modernist houses in the coastal district.

Next, we will visit the historic centre of Castellón de la Plana and the Museum of Fine Arts, showcasing Valencian ceramics, oil paintings from Zurbarán's workshop, sculptures, and more.

Following the museum, we will proceed to the Monday market, which hosts over 300 open-air stalls.

Subsequent stops will highlight the city's monumental legacy, including the Cathedral of Santa María la Mayor and the nearby El Fadrí bell tower, standing at nearly 60 metres tall. The day trip concludes back in Peñíscola at 2 pm.
