Delta del Ebro Day Trip & Boat Ride

At 3:30 pm we'll meet at the Peñíscola Tourist Office, next to the beach. From here we'll make the one hour journey to the natural environment of the Delta del Ebro, where we will explore the most special places of this area by boat.

Upon arrival at the natural park, we will embark and begin a 50-minute journey around Buda Island. During the route, we'll explain the geographical characteristics of this reserve, including the rich wetlands teeming with crustaceans that feature in local cuisine. We'll learn about the island's history and the origin of its name.

We will sail through the rice fields and discover how these traditional crops operate, while observing various birds such as flamingos, jars, and seagulls.

After our boat ride, we'll visit the Ecomuseum to gain a deeper understanding of the importance of conserving the Delta del Ebro.

We will depart for Peñíscola, with an estimated arrival time of 7:30 pm.
