Delta del Ebro Day Trip & Boat Ride

At 3:30 pm we'll meet at the Peñíscola Tourist Office, next to the beach. From here we'll make the one hour journey to the Delta del Ebro, where we'll see its most special places by boat.

Upon arrival at the natural park, we'll embark for a 50-minute journey around Buda Island. During this route, we'll explain the geographical characteristics of the reserve. The water in the wetlands is rich in crustaceans, which contributes to the local cuisine. We'll also learn about the island's history and its name.

We will continue sailing through the rice fields and discover how these traditional crops function. We may see various birds such as flamingos, jars, and seagulls.

After the boat ride, we'll visit the Ecomuseum to better understand the importance of conserving the Delta del Ebro.

Finally, we'll return to Peñíscola, arriving at approximately 7:30 pm.
