Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at the Peniscola Tourist Office and board a minibus to head to Morella, a noted village in the Levantine region.

We'll start exploring by visiting the gate of San Miguel and entering the historic centre of Morella, recognized for its stately homes, ancient buildings, and cobbled streets.

One of the distinguished products of Morella is honey, so we will visit an artisanal honey shop to learn about its production process.

Next, we'll enter the Basilica of Morella to appreciate its Valencian Gothic architecture from the 13th and 14th centuries.

The final stop will be Morella Castle. After observing the castle from the outside, we'll discuss its history. You will then have 1 hour of free time to explore the castle or have lunch at a local restaurant.

We will return to the meeting point in Peniscola by minibus, with arrival scheduled for 9.5 hours after departure.
